Yoga is a very ancient system of Hindu philosophy and means union, co-ordination, harmony, balancing of mind, body and spirit.
Therapeutically, Yoga and Yogatherapy are beneficial for those who have been suffering from many types of chronic or recurrent conditions. It is an important treatment method in Ayurveda as it helps eliminate the aggravated ama (toxins) from the system, balance the doshas and stimulate the essential biochemical substances in the affected organs or systems.
